Status of papers:
The submitted papers are currently under review and the feedback of the reviewers is expected by 27 November.
Authors will have time until 10 December to submit a revised version. When the reviewers have suggested your paper to be presented in a poster format, you will be informed accordingly.
Additionally, in case you have submitted a full paper for the Springer proceedings, please complete the RILEM copyright form, and send it to
Note that at least one of the authors should be registered for the conference before the 31st of December, in order to have the paper included in the conference proceedings (Springer book).
In case you are a young researcher (below the age of 35), we encourage you to subscribe to the young author award competition.
Scientific contributions
Regular speakers can contribute to the conference in several ways:
- full paper (6 to 8 pages) and oral presentation (12 min. presentation + 3 min. Q&A)
- abstract (1 page) and oral presentation (12 min. presentation + 3 min. Q&A)
- poster presentation.
Keynote speakers can contribute with abstract or full paper. They are allocated a 20 min. presentation + 10 min. Q&A.
The scientific committee of the conference reserves the right to adapt the nature of the presentation (12 min. presentation + Q&A or poster presentation) according to the scientific content of the contribution.
Proceedings
All accepted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
The conference proceedings will be published by Springer (Scopus-indexed and EiCompendex-indexed).
Please note that full papers are submitted to RILEM copyright.
Guidelines to authors
Authors should first submit their abstract in the Proceedings Platform. Abstracts should be 300 words maximum.
The deadline for abstract submission is extended until 4 July 2025.
After receiving a notification that their abstract has been accepted, authors must either submit their full article or formatted abstract in the same Proceedings Platform before 30 September 2025.
The FINAL deadline for submission is extended until 31 October 2025
Formatted abstracts should be 300 words maximum. Please select the topic (track in the platform) that best suits your abstract. They should be prepared using the template available here.
Full papers should be 6 pages minimum to 8 pages maximum. They should be prepared using the template available here.
Upon acceptance, the RILEM copyright form should be also provided by authors.
Guidelines for posters
For poster submission, go to the Proceedings Platform and upload the corresponding abstract. The abstract will be checked for acceptance in the conference.
The layout of posters is free, no poster template is imposed by the conference organisers.
